We're getting married! ...twice?

Sooo. My fiance is a marine. He's currently doing a 6 month training increment, and I have been so lost in how to plan anything with how the military leaves little room for any sort of planning for the future. We decided from the start that it would be best if we got legally married before his training was completed so that I could more easily move with him wherever he's stationed. But I also really feel drawn to August 2018 as a wedding month, so now we're thinking of being a little crazy and secretly getting legally married next month and then getting married in the church on our ~legal~ one year anniversary. The religious one would be the whole traditional ordeal with the church, bridal party, reception, etc.This is waaaay sooner than I was anticipating us getting married since we just got engaged last month, so I was wondering if anyone has advice any of these things:1) Has anyone done this? 2) How the hell do we keep this a secret for a year? lol via /r/weddingplanning http://ift.tt/2v0Fgfk
