And I know my entire family, including my groom and I, all smoke cigarettes. Lots of his family members do as well. It's honestly a great thing, and my hotel has a small, enclosed "garden" area connected to the reception room, where I was planning on setting up tables, ashtrays, lights, etc etc. to make it as comfortable for us and our families to smoke. think comfy lounge couches, comfy chairs, lots of leg room to sit I was totally uncomfortable with the idea of the hotel sending our drunk family and guests outside to the front....by the road...and lots of walking....just to smoke. (My grandma is 90 and smokes, so that had me in tears thinking of the trouble I'd put her in.)Anyhoo, I know my friends sometimes smoke as well, but I remembered... at all of our gatherings and get togethers, I'm usually handing out cigarettes to folks I love. So I'm sitting here thinking "You know..." instead of having anyone embarrassed, not enjoying their time, not be comfortable, etc etc, I should have someone hand out cigarette packets. "hand out" as in on a tray with the available options. I wouldn't mind buying the most enjoyable brands and just let guests pick some up when they need them. It also feels super classy, and the utmost respect to those who smoke. Maybe I can buy personalized matches too!While I'm sitting here like "awww, this is a perfect little touch I thought of myself." then it struck me.
