I went to the BHLDN sample sale today, thought I'd share the experience in case anyone else plans on going. I went to the NY Upper East Side location, which is inside of an Anthropologie. There was a line (I got there around 10:15, sale started at 11). When I got to the front of the line, an employee took down my name and phone number and explained that I could go look at the available dresses. When it was my turn, I would get a text and then I'd have half an hour with a stylist to try on dresses. There were only 3 smallish racks of dresses- it was definitely overwhelming trying to look them over while many other people were too. I tried to go through them quickly and take note of the ones I felt like trying. I'd say I probably had to wait a total of 2 hours from being on line to getting my text. By the time I got to try dresses on, I kinda just wanted to be done. Tried on a total of 4 dresses, only one was the correct size (all samples were 4 or 12). I was done in about 15 minutes because I didn't love any of them.I do have an appointment in August and I'm looking forward to having a full hour and not having to deal with sample sale craziness! I really only went because my Dad had a doctor appointment in the city at the same time, but I do appreciate the experience since it was my first time trying on any wedding gowns via /r/weddingplanning http://ift.tt/2uFXyTO
