After months of planning on self-catering my backyard wedding, I finally decided to up my meager food budget ($1k) and selected a menu with my favorite catering company.I have a lovely menu for 75 that amounts to @ $17 pp that is largely appetizers: hummus & pita, chicken and salmon skewers, two kinds of pizzetta, tapenade and bruschetta, brie and fruit, and crudite & aioli. A friend has promised to bring her homemade pieroski and another is making me lasagnas (which I'd planned to serve later in the evening). There will be cake and cupcakes for dessert. My guests have been RSVPing in greater numbers than I anticipated (I thought maybe 50 would come to my very casual, open house reception) and - I can't lie - weddit has me paranoid about my food quantities. The food quality is good but I'm ultimately concerned that my quantities are off. How much more food should I order/prepare? via /r/weddingplanning http://ift.tt/2v0FUto
