Most of our guests and coming in from out of town and I really want to spend more time with them over our wedding weekend. We would like to have a welcome event on the Friday before the wedding but budget is an issue. We are expecting 100-120 people so I guess there could be anywhere from 90 or 100 people at the welcome event. I am not sure how we could pull off a second event for that size! There are some constraints. It's in November with average temperatures between 53-63, so we don't want to risk outdoor events. My parents live 40 minutes away so hosting anyone is not going to work. Some ideas I had. Please let me know if you've done anything like this and how it went!-Rent a room and host people for dessert and wine (finding a room for 100 people may be a challenge). -Game night - some kind of group game that would get people mixing and mingling -Bowling - this is actually surprisingly expensive. Almost $2000 if 100 show up and playI love the idea of some type of game to get people to meet each other. via /r/weddingplanning http://ift.tt/2u73tn6
