I went to a bridal store for the first time. My family lives abroad so I went by myself. I had a pretty good idea of what I like (thank you Pinterest) but at the same time I knew what looks good on a model might make me look like a brick. I tried a couple of gowns and the one I liked the most was on clearance rack (came from another store, it was a sample dress there). I absolutely loved it but it had a couple of issues that needed fixing. Also, my wedding is next September so I wouldn't want to have a dress that's not entirely new hang in my closet for 14 months. The consultant however seemed to be very pushy and said that 'you know.. it won't be available anymore' which is difficult to believe because it's from Madison James' pretty recent collection. Did you guys feel pressured into buying a dress on your first visit? How did you find your perfect dress? I figured if I keep on thinking about this dress in the next couple of days, I will try to find another retailer that carries these dresses. my gown via /r/weddingplanning http://ift.tt/2tVF19l
