Hi guys! First of all, I love living in Pittsburgh and all that it offers. We are getting married October 2019 and my first thought was Pittsburgh Opera. It's GORGEOUS, allows us to bring in our our catering and alcohol (which really cuts costs), and is a totally DIY space. Love it. Problem is that since it's a functioning opera house too, they can't let us know until we have the day we want until only 1 year before (September-October 2018). It just cuts in a little close to me because what if we don't get it? How can book a church for the ceremony so close to the actual wedding date if we DO get it?I adore the space and the DIY-ness of it, but I'm worried about that time frame.
