My DoC is actually my aunt and I asked her to be my DoC for a few reasons. A) she's gonna try to do it anyway, it's easier to just let her do it and B) she is the most detail oriented and kind person in the entire world. She knows that I don't want to know about anything that goes wrong and she has already sent me about a dozen check lists that I just have to fill out and she's now taking care of. She's a freaking godsend. BUT she's not letting me pay her for her time since she's family and I would like to have something nice to give her on the day of the wedding that shows my gratitude. Do any of you have any advice on something that would be small but meaningful? Cost isn't an issue, I just know she wouldn't accept anything big or flashy.
