Hey all! I'm working on the ceremony script right now for our October wedding, and am trying to figure out how to have the officiant (a friend of ours) close the ceremony. I know that normally he would say "by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife", but that kind of feels like lying to everyone since we're actually getting legally married at the New Orleans courthouse on our honeymoon.Is it okay to say anyway?
