[Rant] Jos. A Bank lost my FH and I's business

I apologize in advance for the wall of text. After reading the many horrible stories on weddit about Men's Warehouse, I felt the need to check out all of our options for mensware in our area. As my FH's BM lives states away, we needed a place that would work for not only FH, but also BM. I decided to make two appointments, one for Men's Warehouse and one for Jos. A Bank. Well today's appointment was for Jos. A Bank as I am sure you can guess. From the time we made the appointment and for most of the appointment they were very formal and cordial. Saying ma'am and sir, a firm hand shake, and all the stops. The gentleman was nice, but a bit pushy. He didn't really ask us what we had in mind and seemed at times to randomly walk away and come back. Which whatever, those things I can over look, but the end of the appointment I cannot. When he asked us about how we wanted to put down our deposit, we proceeded to tell him that we wanted to wait at this time. The man just seemed to halt, he stood there for a moment, did not say a word, and then seemed to be pissed off. Told us that he was under the impression we were renting for the whole wedding today (which we never said, nor were we asked). He proceeded to take the discount/coupon off the table and pack the things on the table up, while telling us we should book in the next week for the items we were wanting, of course trying to get us to put the deposit down. And he didn't say much more and walked away. At that point apparently we were done, so we left. Maybe I am in the wrong by making an appointment to look at our options and try tuxedos on? I may not have told the story very well, but it was beyond rude (more then I can retell in words) to act toward us in that manner. He definitely made Jos. A Bank lose our business. Tomorrow we have an appointment at Men's Warehouse, we hope it goes much better.tldr; Salesman at Jos. A Bank ended up being completely rude because we did not want to put down a deposit today. via /r/weddingplanning http://ift.tt/2tpQSHy
