I am SO excited that we have finally picked a venue for our wedding! After looking at a ton of local venues (in Michigan) and doing multiple budget spreadsheets, we finally decided “Screw it!” and are taking 44 (max) of our closest family and friends to Gatlinburg, TN to get married in the Smoky Mountains! We are going to rent out the Gatlinburg Mansion which will sleep 44 people, and get married on the gorgeous balcony overlooking the mountains.I’m still a little nervous about the logistics of having such a small, intimate wedding with everyone in one giant “cabin” of sorts. We are still having it professionally catered, but I’m on the fence about getting a DJ because it’s such a small wedding. I still want dancing though, and can’t they help coordinate the ceremony music and stuff?
