My mom raised me to send thank you notes promptly. She would sit me down the day after my birthday and Christmas and have me write them out.For the weddings though, I was under the impression we had at least until after the honeymoon to send them out. Especially since we've ordered thank you cards that match the invitation suite and overall theme of the wedding.Apparently this is unacceptable to my mom. She's horrified that I haven't sent out cards for the gifts that have been steadily trickling in.Who's in the right here? I can see her side, but isn't a thank you card supposed to be for both the present and their attendance at the wedding? Do people expect prompt thank yous for wedding gifts? via /r/weddingplanning http://ift.tt/2tEXpSk
