Hello Fellow Wedditors!I'm having a hell of a time trying to suss out a catering option (restaurant or company) in Maine that doesn't need the equivalent of a down payment on a house in order to hire them. (Heck, I'm not even sure what a reasonable budget would be if I'm being honest but I feel that expecting $21,000 for dinner and bartending is a bit much)If I'm allowed to be a choosy beggar here - we aren't looking for any formal dinner options. We're both big on street food or bbq. We are considering food trucks (at least 2 since I've heard that wait times can get dicey at food truck weddings) Somehow that translates into "we need your first born child in order to give you food for one evening" but I'm hoping there's one company out there that could do both it for around $5000-$6000 or less.Please let me know if we're still being unreasonable in our expectations to feed our 120-140 estimated guests and staff count but I figured $20-$25/plate with an open beer and wine bar for cocktail hour with cash bar for the rest of the evening would be around that much.If any fellow Maine/New Englanders have any recommendations/experiences and pricing for catering and bartending in the area I'd love to hear them!Thanks in advance for your advice as always! via /r/weddingplanning http://ift.tt/2we1Vpm
