My wedding is still over a year away but I decided to get a head start on planning because the next year is going to be crazy for me. One of the first things I wanted to deal with is bridesmaid's dresses because I knew they were going to be an issue. I'm having 5 bridesmaids and all of them are very slim and in shape except one, who is about a size 24-26. It's really frustrating because it's almost impossible to find dresses that come in a 00, 4,6 and 26. I really want my bridesmaids to match and I'm starting to feel like my only option is to go custom and probably get infinity dresses so everyone can add their own spin and still match. It's not what I really want but I feel like I have to redesign my whole image of the bridal party to make one person comfortable (who also refuses to wear heels or makeup and has multiple times suggested wearing crazy things to the wedding). I don't dislike the infinity dresses and I feel like it could still look really nice. Then there is the matter of cost, getting custom dresses in custom is expensive and I feel guilty for asking all my bridesmaids to get expensive infinity dresses instead of something nicer and more affordable from a regular store. I also know that my friend is going to kick up a fuss about the fact that they're going to get charged a fee for extended sizing. I feel like there is no way to do this and still be fair to everyone and I feel bad but also feel like I'm not asking for anything that outrageous. Has anyone here been in a similar situation? If so, how did you handle it? via /r/weddingplanning http://ift.tt/2wbsY4v
