Wedding reading question

This is a question my fiancee and I have been going back and forth on. We both really love Pablo Neruda's love poem "Your Laughter." The poem is written in the 2nd person, from the author speaking to his love.My fiancee thinks it might be weird to have someone who is not us (specifically, a dear uncle) read a poem in the 2nd person, rather than an abstract piece about the concepts of love/marriage/etc.I was thinking maybe our reader could preface the reading by introducing himself and saying something along the lines of "ChampagneFloozy and FW asked me to read this poem by Pablo Neruda, which they feel illustrates the joyful nature of the love they feel for each other."What do y'all think? Is FW right? Is this weird? via /r/weddingplanning http://ift.tt/2u1qB71
